Our Gap of Dunloe Tour is more of an adventure than a tour! The tour is a full day adventure encompassing a boat journey through the Three Lakes of Killarney. Clients will experience the breathtaking beauty of the Gap of Dunloe and return by bus transfer.

Our bus driver, John Hardigan, picked us up at O'Connor's Traditional Pub in Killarney. We had parked our car 5 min away in public parking. He then drove us to Kate Kearney's Cottage where we began our hike of the Gap of Dunloe. Our boat guide waited patiently for us as we were 20 minutes late. He then narrated a gorgeous tour through the 3 lakes back to Ross Castle, where our bus driver met us and took us back to O'Connor's Traditional Pub. He handed me written contact information for local Irish relatives I had told him about. We later met with them due to his helpful information!

Had a great time with this tour. The mountain views were surreal. The atmosphere at Lord Brandon's Cottage was incredible. And the boat ride through the lakes was enjoyable with very beautiful sights of the mountains.

A little slice of heaven
The morning was pouring rain so we were a bit nervous about the 1.5 hour boat ride but by the time the tour started, the rain had stopped and there were rainbows everywhere. The water level was high from all of the recent rain so we only traversed 2 of the 3 lakes. Arrived at the landing for a cup of tea before climbing into the jaunting car. The horse's name was Bob. The scenery was spectacular. A warm fire and good food at Kate Kearney's cottage was a lovely end of the tour before the bus driver drove me back to the B&B where I was staying. A lovely day all around.

We walked the Gap on a simply marvelous day. Gap of Dunlop tours makes getting there and back easy, informative and most enjoyable. Delightful people. I would say this is a must do. It Just Doesn't Get Any Better Than This
Call it the luck of the Irish, but when Mike and Crazy Tom the Horse offered to take three of my girlfriends and me through the Gap of Dunloe in his jaunting cart, I knew we were in for a great experience. It was better than I could have imagined! Mike entertained us the entire way with stories, tales, insights and observations about the Gap and the area.
